Whats the best hot oil treatment
first off, i don't know why people take their time to post foolish comments! once a week i always do a hot oil treatment. my mom used to buy them, but after much research, i found a better natural recipe. here's what i do on dry unwashed hair: in a small bowl: - add 4 tablespoons olive oil - add 2 tablespoons virgin unrefined coconut oil (yes it matters, virgin and unrefined) - i sometimes add a couple drops of lavender oil (i do this because it relaxes me and i feel like i'm at a spa, but this is truly a matter of choice) if you rather purchase pre-made hot oil treatment, i highly recommend v05 hot oil! hope that helps!!

Or that the mild acidity in lemon is an effective — and gentler — alternative to chemical-laden products?

For lack of a better word, I love the way it becomes “swirly”. Best thing is; it’s easy to do, gorgeous and keeps your hair out of your way for the night.

Breaking Down Beauty: Washing Your Brushes « Painted Ladies
By Sheila I’ve talked about the importance of washing your brushes before, but I thought it would be handy to show you in photos. I wash mine about once a month or so, and that really keeps them in tip top shape.
