Top 10 Recipes of 2010 ~ Recipes by Amanda's Cookin
Last year I did a round up of the 10 most visited posts of 2009 on this blog. I was surprised to see that this year several posts from last year are still in the top 10! I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that read Amanda’s Cookin’, those of you that share my posts with your friends and family, and those that make my recipes and come back to tell me.
LaSaGnA TiMpAnO
I went to see tUnE-yArDs on Monday night with some friends, and as always we wanted to cook a meal that somehow related to the show we were heading to. Sometimes this is hard to do, but other times it seems to come naturally. Finding culinary inspiration in Merrill's lyrics seemed like it would be tough, but my sister knew what she wanted to make without hesitation.
Back to School Lunch Ideas and No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
It’s been one week of packing lunches and I feel like my head is spinning. (We’ve shared them below with recipe details, or, where available, linked to their blogs.)
Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
Ok fine. I’m officially ready to make the transition to fall. And I thought, what better way to do it than with my all time favorite Parmesan Roasted Potatoes! These are like candy. 100% addictive. Once you stop, you just can’t stop. If you knew the amount of potatoes we consumed in a week, you’d be shocked.
Eat Well, Spend Less: The Art of Back-to-School Lunches
This month’s Eat Well, Spend Less topic is all about back-to-school, from breakfast to creative lunch ideas to easy snacks to last-minute dinners. We’re breaking down the process of how to feed those school-bound mouths. In exactly 13 days, I will be getting ready to pack the first school lunches of the year.
