Lamentablemente, aunque viene con una herramienta de revisión ortográfica, no siempre tiene los archivos de diccionario necesarios para que se ejecute. Vamos a configurarlos. Haz clic en el menú Plugins y selecciona Show Plugins Manager. Aparecerá una lista de los plugins disponibles. Busca Spell-Checker, marca el recuadro a su izquierda y haz click en Install. (NOTA: este mensaje aparece varias veces y lo mejor para instalar el plugin Spell-Checker es hacer caso omiso del mismo y pinchar en "No", con lo que se instalará el corrector ortográfico).
Ahora se reiniciará Notepad ++ y quedará instalado el plugin Spell-Checker: Para instalar nuestro diccionario preferido debemos hacer otra operación. Una vez abierto el enlace de GNU Aspell, descargamos el instalador de Windows pinchando en el link azul "Full instaler": Y procederemos como con el archivo anterior:
