The 15 Best Places On The Internet For Book Lovers
The internet is great for many things: The OC GIFs, Harambe memes, and literature. Does it seem like one of those things is not like the other? If it feels at all strange to you that the medium which has been credited (along with television, of course) with a national decline in attention spans and an accompanying rise in people wanting to get their news via 15-second video clips rather than 1500-word articles, well, yeah, when put that way, maybe it does seem weird.

What Shakespeare Plays Originally Sounded Like
2545Share107 In this video from The Open University, we learn about the Globe Theater's experiments with "Original Pronunciation" (OP), which is exactly what it sounds like–English as it was pronounced at the time Shakespeare's plays were written and first performed. Unsurprisingly, OP is quite different from modern pronunciation, and often changes lines dramatically. Often lines rhyme in the OP accent, but do not in a modern accent (also known as Received Pronunciation, or RP). My favorite is an example late in the video, when "proved" is pronounced like "loved," as they are supposed to rhyme in Sonnet 116.
How to Use Firefox Addons
Even though Firefox usage has been on the decline over the last few years, it’s still in second place behind Google Chrome in terms of usage. The main reason behind that is add-ons. Firefox can be customized in a million different ways, something no other browser can replicate to that level. In Firefox lingo, add-ons can consist of a number of things: extensions, themes, plugins, services, search providers, language packs, etc. Add-ons allow you to change how Firefox works, extend its functionality or customize the appearance of the browser.
