I’d heard it was a cool city from many of the expats I’ve met abroad, but I just didn’t know until I saw it for myself. I’d heard Toronto called “a cleaner version of New York City,” and after visiting both cities in the span of a month, I’d probably have to agree. Toronto is cool. In a city as international as Toronto (rated one of the most multicultural in the world), it’s no surprise that there are plenty of hipsters and hipstery things to do. Queen Street West is undoubtedly one of the most hip and trendy areas in Toronto today. Toronto’s culinary scene is as diverse and interesting as the city itself. Quality cook wear, sharp knives and all the necessities including a rack of spices are in the compact an easy care for kitchen area. The bedroom is cosy and the bed very comfortable. Hot water was not a problem in the bath and a pleasant surpise was the washer and dryer tucked away in the closet off the bath. There are stairs, so, think about this when planning to lug a suitcase up to the loft bedroom. I just unpacked and took my essentials up and left my bag in closet off the kitchen. Floor to ceiling windows open up the whole space and make the living area more inviting.

It was awesome to meet you and your family. I am so happy to know that the condo was in an ideal location for you all. It is true, the kitchen has some shortcomings which was unfortunately caused by careless tenants in the past :( But all things are clearly noted in the listing. I am always sure to disclose as much as possible for my pending guests so that they are aware of everything about the unit prior to confirming their reservation with me.
Good thing is that some guests are alright with not using the oven to cook (I have purchased a toaster oven for everyone to use instead) or emptying the bucket of water under the sink every 3 days or so if they can save some $$$ on their stay. First, the apartment: It's in a fab location in a beautiful, modern builing, there is also a gym you can use which we did every morning as we were up a silly o'clock with jet lag. We were over from London for work and a bit of fun, and this was the perfect little bolt hole for our stay. Spotlessly clean, really nicely designed, great use of space and lovely to watch the sun set over the city on the balcony at night time. I actually really miss it!
