Lil Wayne Writes From Solitary Confinement With less than a month left of his eight month prison sentence Lil Wayne is reaching out to his fans penning his ninth letter thanking them for their support, and dropping updates on his current status. In his latest correspondence Weezy responds to being in solitary confinement for the remainder of his sentence, his punishment for breaking prison rules by listening to music on his MP3 player, a move which he acknowledges was the wrong decision. “By now I’m guessing that you all have heard about my recent relocation to the bing, which is punitive segregation,” he wrote. “Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week. This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I f—ed up and now I must deal with the consequences.”
