Close All Windows 1.3 free download Close all application windows with a click CloseAll is a tiny, portable tool which can close all applications with a click. The program doesn't require installation, so all you have to do is remove it from the download file and place the program (or a shortcut) in some convenient location. In Windows 7 you might pin it to the taskbar, for instance (right-click, select Pin to Taskbar). Then, when your PC is just too cluttered with running applications and open windows, all you have to do is click the pinned CloseAll shortcut and it'll try to shut down all down. This isn't quite as alarming as it sounds. And the method used to close applications is relatively gentle, so if an application has work which you haven't saved then it shouldn't close immediately: you'll first see the usual message asking if you want to save your data. If this is still a little too drastic for you, though, Close All Windows can also be configured to keep some applications running. What's new in v2.0? CrossOver XI
Free Web Conferencing Software, Free Online Meetings, Free Webinar Service Providers LibriVox SampleDecks 2.0.0 free download Auslogics Internet Optimizer is an unusually comprehensive internet connection tweaking tool. If you're baffled by networking jargon then there's no need to delve too deeply, though. Just launch the program, choose your internet connection speed, click Analyze and Internet Optimizer will recommend improvements to your system settings. After applying these with another click, reboot, then try a few internet apps and see if you spot any performance gains. If you prefer to take a hands-on approach, however, opting for a Manual Optimization will display every setting the program understands, and allow you to configure it yourself. Does it work? Of course optimising your internet connection is a tricky business, and whether you use the auto or manual mode, it's possible that one of the changes might make your system slower than it was before.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs Maslow's hierarchy of needs, represented as a pyramid with the more basic needs at the bottom[1] Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a theory in psychology proposed by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 paper "A Theory of Human Motivation" in Psychological Review.[2] Maslow subsequently extended the idea to include his observations of humans' innate curiosity. His theories parallel many other theories of human developmental psychology, some of which focus on describing the stages of growth in humans. Maslow studied what he called exemplary people such as Albert Einstein, Jane Addams, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Frederick Douglass rather than mentally ill or neurotic people, writing that "the study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy Hierarchy The most fundamental and basic four layers of the pyramid contain what Maslow called "deficiency needs" or "d-needs": esteem, friendship and love, security, and physical needs. Living Without Time Time. When broken down into minutes, hours, days, such small units over a lifetime, they don't really seem to exist. It's almost like a reality that we all subscribe to—existing only because we agreed it should. On the other hand, time is always marching forward. Infinite. Abrupt when divided into years, decades, centuries. The only unit of time that matters is heartbeats. The smallest units, insignificant over a lifetime, are also the most stressful. I unsubscribed to the clock I dropped my watch right into the garbage. The effects were immediate. I learned how to read the sun—a skill that adapted on its own, so it was surprising when I caught myself turning to the window to figure out if I was done working for the day. Three months later Though I've gotten used to the mental freedom, three months into it, the bigger changes are still sticking around. I'm no longer chained to the clock. The essentials I reckon a Beginning Teacher needs to start their class. Ever since the Facebook page NZ Teachers (Primary) started, I've seen multiple posts from beginning teachers asking what others suggest are essential for them as they set up their class. In this post I will attempt to pull together some of what I consider essential to help a beginning teacher set up their first class. You will read advice on storage, the walls, setting up your literacy programme, numeracy, and there are numerous links to blogs, downloads and websites and a whole lot of ramblings from a teacher who has been in the game for twenty years. If you are on Twitter and have any questions, you can get me at @melulater. Storage Firstly I recommend you get lots of boxes of various sizes for reading groups, fluency boxes and various resources. This box cost $3 and I use it for my reading groups, one per group. This box cost $5 and I use it for my fluency boxes for each reading group. You can't go past boxes with lids like this for storage.
