I love them all, but in a way the one I know best is the middle-aged man across the table whose blue eyes look just like mine: my younger brother Paul. Paul and I kind of irritated each other when we were kids; I would take bites out of his precisely made sandwiches in just the spot I knew he didn't want me to, and he would hang around the living room telling jokes when he knew I wanted to be alone with the boy on the couch. But as adults, we've always had each other's backs, especially when it comes to dealing with our mother's health crises, which have become more frequent in the past few years. Paul is the first person I want to talk to when there's something that worries me about Mom; I know he'll be worried, too.

China–France relations China–France relations, also known as Sino-French relations or Franco-Chinese relations, refers to the interstate relations between China and France (Kingdom or later). Note that the meaning of both "China" and "France" as entities has changed throughout history; this article will discuss what was commonly considered 'France' and 'China' at the time of the relationships in question. There have been many political, cultural and economic relationships between the two countries. History[edit] neural network There are many types of artificial neural networks (ANN). An artificial neural network is a computational simulation of a biological neural network. These models mimic the real life behaviour of neurons and the electrical messages they produce between input (such as from the eyes or nerve endings in the hand), processing by the brain and the final output from the brain (such as reacting to light or from sensing touch or heat). There are other ANNs which are adaptive systems used to model things such as environments and population.
Write In Private: Free Online Diary And Personal Journal TP-Link repeater flawlessly reaches the previously unreachable spots. It aims at widening the network coverage and enhancing the signal strength. Once you are done with the TP-Link repeater setup, you have to log in to the repeater’s admin settings by visiting the official web portal of the repeater. The Moral Bucket List Photo ABOUT once a month I run across a person who radiates an inner light. These people can be in any walk of life. They seem deeply good. They listen well. Artist Francis Bacon is best known for his post-World War II paintings, in which he represented the human face and figure in an expressive, often grotesque style. Synopsis Francis Bacon was born to English parents living in Dublin, Ireland, on October 28, 1909. After traveling to Germany and France as a young man, he settled in London and began a career as a self-taught artist.
Immaterials: light painting WiFi “The complex technologies the networked city relies upon to produce its effects remain distressingly opaque, even to those exposed to them on a daily basis.” – Adam Greenfield (2009) Immaterials: light painting WiFi film by Timo Arnall, Jørn Knutsen and Einar Sneve Martinussen. This project explores the invisible terrain of WiFi networks in urban spaces by light painting signal strength in long-exposure photographs. A four-metre tall measuring rod with 80 points of light reveals cross-sections through WiFi networks using a photographic technique called light-painting. This builds on a technique that was invented for the 2009 film ‘Immaterials: the Ghost in the Field’ which probed the edges of the invisible fields that surround RFID readers and tags in the world. It also began a series of investigations into what Matt Jones richly summarised as ‘Immaterials’.
rat smart And that's no dig at Google, according to artificial intelligence researchers Yann LeCun and Josh Tenenbaum. The two spoke at the World Science Festival in New York City after the premier of "The Creator: Alan Turing and the Future of Thinking Machines," a trippy arthouse film about 1940s and 1950s artificial intelligence visionary Alan Turing. The galactic encyclopedia we know as Google is brilliant in many ways — for the amount of information it can absorb and shoot back in response to virtually any kind of question. Still, "It's rote learning; there's no understanding," said LeCun, a professor of computer and neural science at New York University. In terms of computational ability, even the most-powerful computers in the world are just approaching that of an insect, according to LeCun.
wtf. i just posted this why are so many people commenting I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU, PEARL TREE by doodlespoon Jan 29

It will only suck the life out of you if you let it. As anti-social as it might seem to outsiders, a lot of people on tumblr make good friends with others, directly and indirectly. It's also more effective than most other social networks when it comes to social awareness and activism. But if I were to honestly summarise the tumblr experience: Memes, OTPs, food porn, gay porn, fanfiction and every possible fandom under the sun. Sherlock? We've got it! Supernatural? Right this way! Doctor Who? You bet! A Sherlock/Supernatural/Doctor Who crossover fandom, you say? Why of course! Slash fiction and fanart all included! Enjoy your stay! by ilikealmondmilk Mar 13
i'm glad you like tumblr .... it's a big place far more fascinating than a lot of other sites .... but it. will. suck. the life out of you by whitehorse420 Mar 13
