Caramel Apple Cupcakes
September is finally here and all I can think about are all of the apple recipes I want to dig into. I’ve already lit my fall candles to get in the mood since we kind of have to fake the seasons over here in Florida. These caramel apple cupcakes smelled divine baking in the oven!
Raspberry Cheesecake Cupcakes
If you enjoy cheesecake, then you will love these cupcakes. They consist of cheesecake with a graham cracker crust, a layer of homemade raspberry jelly, and are topped with cream cheese whipped cream. Can you say yum? Ingredients: Cheesecake
King Arthur Flour – Baking Banter - StumbleUpon
Love brownies. Love their shiny, flaky top that shatters into micro-thin shards that shower onto your fingers as you eat. Love their dark, gooey center. Their “chocolate nirvana” flavor. Sometimes can’t deal with the bake, wait to cool, cutting into squares messiness and fuss of brownies.
Coca-Cola Cupcakes
I don’t drink coca-cola. But I do eat it. Weird.
root beer float cupcakes
It never takes long into the first hot week of the summer for me to get swept up in some sort of dorky nostalgia for a time or place I never knew, in this case, Main Street, U.S.A. with its drugstore soda counters counters, elaborate marble and stainless steel fountains manned by soda jerks serving five cent Cherry Cokes and root beers to bright-eyed youths that always said things like “Sir” and “Ma’am”. Of course, modern times call for modern formats, don’t they? Something you can pack up and bring to a barbecue or picnic? Thus I quickly became consumed with the idea of turning a root beer float into a cupcake; what I struggled to work out were the logistics.
One Bowl Vanilla Cupcakes For Two
Let’s face it: sometimes we all need a dessert that only makes two servings. Sometimes we just can’t handle 12 servings. Sometimes we eat them all by ourselves. Sometimes we eat them all by ourselves in two hours.

There aren't many people, especially with the current cupcake phase going on, who doesn't love the comfort of a good, old fashioned cupcake. Quick to prepare, simple to serve and definitely easy to eat, cupcakes are fantastic for get-togethers, cookouts and simple dinners. They can also be dressed up quite nicely for special occasions. Ingredients of a 20something: Cookie dough cupcakes, peanut butter chocolate cookies and cake pops
It seems like the farther I get away from college (and the more free time I have...there's a connection), the more I get into movies. Which is why Oscar season is exciting. I saw The Artist a couple days after the Best Picture nominees were announced, and I have to say, it's totally great. For a silent film, it uses sound masterfully. Another favorite so far is Midnight in Paris. To be honest, I've never seen a Woody Allen film before this, but I love historical fiction, and this was throwing a lot of great characters (both Ernest Hemingway and Salvador Dali are fantastic) into one story.
Chocolate Cupcakes with Flaming Strawberries
Call me easily amused, but these little torch-topped cupcakes delight me. Besides being a cute novelty item for a party, I think they would add a little drama to the end of a romantic meal. I've been looking for something different to serve for Valentine's dessert, and this is definitely different.
SELF-FROSTING NUTELLA CUPCAKES
When I bought the jar of Nutella last weekend I made a vow (yes I did) that part of the Nutella will be made into cupcakes. I’ve always planned to do that whenever I buy one but it never gets that far. Darn those nutella sandwiches and occasional spoon licking. Well, I finally made self-frosting nutella cupcakes and golly they were so beautiful and delicious. This self-frosting nutella cupcakes recipe was adapted from Connie of Pinoycook which she got from Baking Bites. 10 tbsp butter, softened 3/4 cup white sugar 3 eggs 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 3/4 cups sifted all purpose flour 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup Nutella
Teabags! Perfect cookie for a Tea Party!
For my boss's birthday I made these shortbread tea bags... I was inspired when I saw some wooden tea bags as part of a kid's play food set - I thought hmmm one day I could do shortbread dipped in chocolate! I made little tags with cupcakes and used embroidery thread. I used a round icing tip to punch a little hole in each one before I baked so that I could thread it later.
