Cheesecake in a Jar Recipe
I’m fairly certain that I’ve discussed my lack of love for the great outdoors, so it’s safe to say you’ll never hear me writing about long hikes in the woods or camping anywhere other than on a deck chair at a five star resort (Hey, I can dream, right?). Not to say that I am not fond of the fresh air and scenery, I just like to keep a screen between me and the bugs. Needless to say, I don’t last long at picnics in the park or anywhere outdoors for that matter.

Two-Bite Strawberry Hand Pies
This post comes to you from damply beautiful Seattle, Washington! Yes, kids, I am in Seattle for BlogHer Food 2012 and not just as an attendee, but I am speaking! I am nervous, but terribly excited, and ready to get the party started! The last month has been a CRAZY travel month for me. First, I went to Camp Blogaway, then I spent 6 days in Tokyo (expect a few Japanese themed recipes in the future – the place is life changing!), and now I am here in Seattle.
Mini Pumpkin Pies in a Muffin Tin
I love to bake in muffin tins. They are cute, bite-sized, and cook up so much faster. I’ve shared Muffin Tin Meatloaves and Pop Up Pancakes in Muffin Tins. Today, I’ve baked cute mini pumpkin pies in a muffin tin.

28th October 2010By GuestPhotography by Adam Much to the delight of the blog team we have a new member, Genevieve. Genevieve has just started in product development for cooking products as a product evaluator. She hails from Samoa where her mother owns her own catering business and with a food science background we’re expecting big things! Anyway over to Genevieve and her heirloom recipe: “There is something about brownies that makes me go gaga over them and lose all my willpower.
S'mores Cake in a Jar
Oh friends. Hi. How are you? Judging from the above picture, you can assume I’m doing well. I’m not going hungry, that’s for sure.
How to Make Marshmallow Fondant
This time I decided to make it with those mini fruit flavored marshmallows. I had to sort them by colour first. I figured they would add a little bit of flavor to the fondant so I wouldn't have to add much flavoring oil. I use gel colours to dye my fondant but regular food colouring will work too.
Jamaican Banana Fritters
There’s a thing in my house that when you have ripe ol bananas either you make banana bread or banana fritters. These delicious tasty treats can be eaten morning, noon, or night, as a snack or as dessert. These fritters are so easy to make and will satisfy any craving you may have. So if you have a few of these bananas lying around your hose… don’t toss them, put them to GREAT use! Enjoy!
How long do i boil chicken breast?
Boiled boneless chicken breast is about the worst way to cook chicken. It comes out dry and tasteless. It is mixed with mayonaise or some other sauces to make it palatable.

Cherry Crisp in a Jar from My Baking Addiction
I’m starting to get the feeling that, when my surgeon told me my recovery from surgery would be 6-8 weeks, he wasn’t joking! I am doing quite well, all things considered… And, I am gradually feeling better each day, but there is still quite a long road in front of me! So, I am feeling especially blessed by all of my great blogger friends who are stopping by here to help me out with all of these guest posts. I’m sure I don’t need to introduce Jamie from My Baking Addiction… If you are anything like me, you probably visit her site regularly and just stare at her gorgeous photos and stunning desserts! While it’s hard to pick just a few, some of my favorites are her Thin Mint Pie and Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars!

Double Crust Blueberry Pie
My grandma would be so proud of me if she were still a live because she was the pie maker in the family, and I finally feel like I can make a decent pie crust which is half the battle. Grandma made wonderful pies and it was always such a treat to go to her house or for her to come to ours because she always made a pie or had one in hand. As a child I only liked her lemon meringue and chocolate pies although I know she made many others.
Popsicles!
Not to sound full of myself, but I’m pretty sure this is the be all, end all of popsicle roundups. There’s a little something for everyone: the foodies, the purists, the ones who prefer frozen yogurt, the ones who prefer a little alcohol, everyone. Tweny-five options to be exact. The post I did last summer on the cold guys was one of DC’s most viewed ever, so I thought you’d all be up for another round – was I right? Click on the photo to be taken to the recipe.
