How To Do A Peg Wheelie (BMXing) There are some awesome moves in BMXing, some harder than others.
A Peg Wheelie is a great place to start, helping you impress by taking the standard wheelie that step further. Jason Forde of Team Extreme demonstrates how to do a Peg Wheelie on VideoJug. Step 1: Starting position To perform a peg wheelie, you must be travelling at a moderate speed, with the peddles parallel to the ground. As you travel, gently move your back foot onto the rear peg (if you have a short bike this can be made easier by just resting the heel on that peg.) Next bring the front foot back in the same way so you are standing on both rear pegs. Step 2: Pulling up Lift your dominant foot off the peg as you coast, and hang it back to provide balance, adjusting its position as necessary. Once you have your balance, lean back slightly whilst pulling up gently on the handle bars so the front wheel raises up in the air.
Step 3: Coasting Simply coast forward in the position for as far as you want. How-To Whopper With Terry Adams. How-To Sidesaddle With Travis Collier. How-To Hitchhiker With Bobby Carter. How To Perform A G-Turn Nose Wheelie (BMXing) A G-Turn nose wheelie involves balancing on your Bmx's front wheel and spinning the bike round 180.
It looks stylish, and can be mastered with some practise. Jason Forde of Team Extreme shows us how. Step 1: The turn To perform a G-turn nose wheelie you must start by riding at a moderate speed with your pedals parallel to the ground. You must then turn sharply, also known as carving, into a tight circle to the right. As you go into the turn, push down on the bars and lean forward slightly, shifting your weight from the back of the bike, to the front.
Step 2: Twisting As you perform the sharp right hand turn, push out to the left with your hips, whilst turning your head to look over your right shoulder. With practise, this motion combined with the pushing down of the handle bars will lift the rear wheel off the ground, and propel it around roughly 180 degrees in a sweeping arc. How To Do An Endo (BMXing) The Endo involves stopping a bike in it's tracks and braking to raise it up onto the front wheel.
It is a simple, fun trick that can be fairly easy to learn for a new BMX rider. Jason Forde of Team Extreme shows VideoJug how an Endo is done. Step 1: Position The starting position for an endo should be moving along slowly, barely at walking pace, whilst standing on your peddles which should be parallel with the ground. Step 2: Braking Whilst coasting at this speed apply the front brake whilst at the same time pushing forward on the handle bars. As you push the bars, lean forward to bring your head over the front wheel and bend your knees, being very careful not to lean too far. The moment before you apply the brake, try giving a short quick dip at the knees, to provide some bounce.
Step 3: Riding out Riding out of the move is simply a case of leaning back to transfer your weight towards the rear of the bike whilst still holding the brake. Steam roller backward 2. Boomerang-to-the-pedal.
