If you’ve ever had an attempt at eating low carb or going ‘full paleo’, I bet you’ve struggled with this too. Yep. Breakfast. Social Media & NGOs: Crossing Boundaries & Building Bridges! Nutella-filled Banana Muffins... I toyed with the idea of calling these QPTWB Muffins (Quite Possibly the World's Best Muffins), but it seemed a little braggy...and difficult to say. I actually take no credit for these muffins being the best.muffins.ever....it's all due to Nutella. Inspiration? Caramel Stuffed Apple Cider Cookies I am not a bossy person by nature. Lavender & Lemon Scones No judging, ok? I've had this little tin of dried culinary lavender in my cabinet for over a year. I know, I know....that's a big no-no. You see, sweet Aimee from Simple Bites gave me a tin of culinary lavender at Blissdom (in 2011). ;) I just couldn't find the *perfect* recipe to try with it....so I kept it in my cabinet and would just open the tin and take a whiff occasionally. No judging, remember?

Broccoli Cake recipe There's lovely little patisserie in Paris Called Rose Bakery. Here, in defiance of all sense and logic an Anglo French couple have opened in the heart of the pastry version of Disneyland that is Paris aka Pastryland and they serve up lovely little Anglo French treats to a roaring trade. There isn't a traditional shop window and only a door to entice customers. The coffee, cheeses, pottery and cutlery are from England. Sometimes things that just aren't supposed to work do. Case in point: broccoli cake

Monkey Bread Muffins... quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten! These muffins are quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten!… Did I really just say that? Yes, I did! These are without a doubt a-maz-ing! Panna Cotta Tricolore This is the last dish of the menu that I have created to celebrate the 150 years of the Unification of Italy. When I decided to make a theme menu for the occasion, this dish was the first I pictured in my mind. I knew I wanted to make a layered sweet to represent the Italian flag.
