Every Facebook Profile Pic On Natalia Rojas-Created Site - Cat: Creativity and Technology The Faces of Facebook is a project by freelance creative technologist Natalia Rojas (whose previous work includes Volvo's X-Ray App). Rojas has created a site that has organized every single profile picture on Facebook in chronological order, from Mark Zuckerberg onwards. You can just randomly browse it (Rojas has worked out that if you were to take a look at each of them for just one second it would take 36 years, 5 months, 9 days, 6 hours, 46 minutes and 16 seconds of your life), or you can log in with Facebook to see what number you were to sign up, and where your friends are. The latter is an interesting insight into early social media adopters among your peer group, but in case you're worried about privacy, Rojas assures us that no-one's private details are stored by the site. She also said that access to the site has been intermittent, thanks to a record number of visitors causing server disruptions.

Wind Map An invisible, ancient source of energy surrounds us—energy that powered the first explorations of the world, and that may be a key to the future. This map shows you the delicate tracery of wind flowing over the US. The wind map is a personal art project, not associated with any company. We've done our best to make this as accurate as possible, but can't make any guarantees about the correctness of the data or our software. Please do not use the map or its data to fly a plane, sail a boat, or fight wildfires :-) If the map is missing or seems slow, we recommend the latest Chrome browser.

Project Unbreakable You may have noticed that Project Unbreakable has been pretty quiet lately. For a few months now, those of us at Unbreakable have been making some pretty big life changes, and we have had to figure out where Unbreakable is placed. It has been a very long and incredible journey, but we are saddened to say that we will be closing our doors. We will finish posting all the submissions we have, but after we run out, we are no longer going to be accepting submissions for the website (but everything will remain up – we aren’t deleting anything.) We hope you understand, and we are grateful for your support.

Brain-Melting Amalgamations Be sure not to stare at these gifs too long or your brain will start to melt away. Motion designer Micaël Reynaud pushes us into a psychedelic haze with these "living" images. The photos from the piece above were taken by Michael Jang. via [Change the Thought]
