Thanks to countless wars, the irresistible draw of modernization, and overwrought tourism infrastructure, the Europe of your dreams is harder to find than ever. However, there are still towns where you can experience that ‘old-world European charm’ almost like it was when Wordsworth and the Romantics first popularized vagabonding the Continent. These are places with well-preserved architecture dating back hundreds and even thousands of years. These are places where the negative impact of tourism isn’t allowed to run roughshod over local aesthetics. These are places where you can find that cobblestone-postcard view.

Scoop.it is a great tool for organising all of the information you want to collect on a topic. You can choose to have different boards for different topics. It is easy to 'scoop' as it is to 'pick' in pearltrees. Another good feature of scoop.it is that you can create a little newsletter and email it to your colleagues. by janeschmude Apr 25

I use both as well! I make a Scoop.it page for each of my classes. I use Pearltree to organize and collect thoughts. I also use Padlet (formerly Wallwisher) for an interactive corkboard. I've been collecting educational technology though as part of my dissertation. is where I've been consolidating! by jskopecek Mar 25
I agree with you. Have you ever tried lino it? It is a noticeboard or corkboard where students can collaborate and pin their works. I use it and kids (12-14) love it. by analaradiez Mar 24
Well, that is a good way to see it, but as for a teaching environment, as I may use it as teacher, I think of designs and ease for students to use, and I think the design by pearltrees is great to motivate people to practice; In addition, it looks more like a mindmap, which helps the learning process , thanks for the eye-opening on some other uses by sergioherrera Mar 24
Same fore me: I like both and used them for very different reasons. Scoop.it to organize articles and share my thoughts, Pearltrees to organize my favorites sites in a visual, fun way. by jcheuoua Mar 24
Hi. As for me Scoop.it and Peareltrees are very different ! And I use both of them. Scoop.it as a webzine and Pearltrees as a "bookmarks collector"... ;-) by bernard_lamailloux Mar 24
I consider it in a different way. I like both. I use scoop it to keep up in some issues. it's great to follow people that curate topics on my interest. by analaradiez Mar 24
I have tried Scoop.it, and while it is good, I feel the pearltrees approach is way much better and natural by sergioherrera Mar 24
