In occasione del centenario della teoria della relatività generale di Einstein, Zanichelli ha lanciato RelativitApp, un’applicazione che trasforma un concetto solitamente considerato ostico in un cartone animato interattivo. “È una tradizione quella per cui le scoperte scientifiche del secolo scorso non sono ritenute alla portata del cittadino comune e si studiano soltanto a scuola, nell’ultimo anno di liceo”, commenta Federico Tibone, fisico e autore scientifico Zanichelli, che insieme a Tullio Regge ha realizzato RelativitApp. “In realtà alcune di queste idee non sono così complesse”, continua Tibone ”ed esistono tecniche per raccontarle in modo che siano più comprensibili per tutti: è questo il caso della teoria della relatività di Einstein, che è uno dei fondamenti della vita quotidiana odierna, anche se spesso non ce ne rendiamo conto”. All’interno di RelativitApp, il fruitore può cambiare i parametri di riferimento e fare degli “esperimenti ideali”, come li chiamava Einstein.
